Volunteers are at the heart of Meals on Wheels South Florida. By giving their time, our volunteers do much more than deliver nutritious meals to seniors throughout Broward County—they provide a friendly face, a meaningful connection, and a reassuring visit to older adults who may be isolated or living alone.
Each delivery helps ensure that seniors who may have difficulty accessing nutritious food receive the meals and support they need to remain healthy and independent. Just as importantly, a volunteer’s visit can bring companionship and brighten someone’s day.

Companion Pet Program Volunteers
Nourishing the pets who bring comfort and joy to our clients. Our volunteers deliver pet food right to the doorsteps of our homebound neighbors twice a month, ensuring their beloved animal companions stay fed and healthy.
