crisis can be overwhelming—especially for seniors living independently. When
immediate nutritional support is needed, Meals on Wheels South Florida
is here to ensure no older adult goes hungry during a critical time of recovery.
 

Thanks to the generous support of The Jim Moran Foundation, our Emergency
Meal Program provides a 14-day supply of nutritious meals delivered
straight to a senior’s doorstep.
 

How the Program Works

• Immediate Relief: Designed for seniors returning home from a medical stay or facing an urgent, unexpected gap in food security.

• 14 Days of Care: Receives a full two-week supply of meals, giving seniors time to regain their strength and focus on healing.

• A Bridge to Long-Term Support: This one-time service acts as a safety net while our team assists the client in establishing ongoing meal services or long-term care plans.
