For many homebound seniors, our dedicated delivery drivers and volunteers are the only friendly face they see all day. Beyond delivering food, we deliver warm conversations and genuine human connection—helping combat senior isolation and bringing a daily touch of warmth to their door.
Safety Checks
With every meal delivery comes invaluable peace of mind. Our team performs routine safety checks during each visit, giving families and caregivers comfort knowing that someone is regularly looking in on their loved one and ready to step in if something ever seems amiss.

Meals on Wheels South Florida marked a major milestone on June 24, 2026, with a ribbon‑cutting ceremony and a check presentation from Cleveland Clinic Florida at the organization’s second location, a new distribution warehouse in Plantation. The new facility will expand the organization’s footprint and strengthen its ability to deliver nutritious meals, friendly visits, and wellness checks to older adults across the region.
